You may love or hate Spotify, but one thing is certain, and that is their widgets are simply atrocious. And that's exactly why I discovered Widgetify. It's a third party widget app that provides you with some beautiful widgets for your Spotify playlist.
Inside the app, you can create different collections that consists of albums or playlist that you want to categorize. The app also gives you a bunch of pre-made suggestions as well. After that, all you have to do is to add the Widgetify widget on your home screen.
There are five different widgets to choose from. Grid widget, grid images widget, list widget, list images widget, and random widget. All of them except the random widget is designed to show you your favorite albums in a nice format. All of the widgets follow your system dynamic colors and with one press you can start listening to your chosen playlist or album.
The random widget as you can guess replaces a random playlist from your profile. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a now playing widget and I'm not even sure whether Spotify allows that. So, I'm not going to hold it against this app. Overall, if you're using Spotify daily, then I suggest you give this app a try.
